With its unique modular concept, the new system offers increased energy density and ultimate integration flexibility. By providing comprehensive, application-specific solutions for smart electrified power solutions, Yanmar will become the all-in-one systems integrator. As a systems integrator, Yanmar will implement system engineering, design, and manufacture of e-powertrains, as well as control development, system evaluation, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Industrial OEMs can take advantage of the scalable design of the new product to meet a wide variety of off-highway requirements. A unique feature of ELEO's battery modules is the possibility of creating them in various sizes while using the same tooling, components, and production process. It allows for a wide variety of customized packs without requiring extensive engineering.
The new ELEO battery system incorporates advanced technology to deliver customers optimal battery performance. Due to state-of-the-art cylindrical cells and optimal packing flexibility, an industry-leading energy density and maximum autonomy are possible. The in-house developed Battery Management System (BMS) also contributes to ELEO's unique flexibility. A central pack management unit collects and controls data from all individual modules, thus ensuring active safety and comprehensive communication with the application.
